Transportfiets Part II

Suffisamment chanceux ce matin pour saisir quelques clichés qui confirment mon précédent message... J'aime beaucoup cet aspect utilitaire, simple et modeste du "porteur".

I was lucky enough this morning to catch pictures confirming my last post... I do really like these utilitarian, simple and humble aspects of the "porteur" bicycle.






La bicyclette et le cycliste ont peut-être le même âge... / The bicycle is maybe as old as the cyclist...

    I love these bikes too. There was one lying around on the footpath at my local cafe for years but then it was taken to the tip. Wish I had made them an offer. Thanks for these great posts; a little bit of an insight into the life of a Parisian cyclist .Cool!

    Thanks for your comment, and thanks for paying a visit to this humble blog!
    Next time you find one of these "porteurs", try to "catch" it; I personally own three, two old Frenchies, and a modern Dutch one, and they are really cool for an everyday use (commuting and so on...)
